Hello there, thanks for coming to my blog. Hope you aren't lost, but even if you are - welcome.
I guess this blog will be about life and times in Universal Design for Learning an exciting but challenging course I am taking this semester. Anything with technology can be a challenge. I remember using rotary dial phones, talking to operators and black and white TV with lots of snow. But, I am excited to learn what technology can do to make the school house, that we all know and love, all new and flexible. Hopefully there is a "brave new world" of education coming.

- I am a long time educator at the middle school level working as a math teacher and school counselor. I have also created a summer program focused on literacy for struggling middle school students. It is very experiential, student centered and lots of fun. I created it because I get bored in the summer and find this a great way to hang out with kids.
